Job summary

Legal And General Group's Asset Management America seeks a junior attorney to support a broad U.S. investment management platform and work closely with Associate General Counsels.

The role offers hands-on experience across investment documents, governance, and regulatory compliance in a collaborative team. The successful candidate will draft, review and negotiate investment agreements, support new product initiatives, and help ensure consistent documentation and risk-based guidance for a varied

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong drafting skills.
• Experience in asset management or financial services preferred.
• Interest in learning Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act, ERISA.

Responsibilities

• Support review, drafting, negotiation and maintenance of investment documents.
• Prepare template agreements, playbooks, and internal guidance materials.
• Assist with launch and maintenance of investment products.
• Coordinate with risk, compliance and other teams on regulatory issues.
• Support onboarding, client requirements, and regulatory review processes.
• Attend governance meetings and prepare minutes.
