Job summary

Quanta-Services’ QISG unit in Denver, CO seeks a motivated Junior Cost Specialist to assist with project financials across EPC projects. This entry-level role includes full training and requires residency in the Denver metro area.

Join our QISG team to learn cost control processes and support cost reporting, forecasting, and billing activities with guidance from PMs and Project Controls leadership.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial analysis.
• Experience with JDE, EcoSys, or Procore.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile material receipts in JDE, uploading BOLs and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Expediting and Project Teams to ensure accurate receiving documentation.
• File receipts in Procore and match POs or budget codes to AP invoices.
• Verify billings, retention, taxes, and lien waivers for AP accuracy and compliance.
• Post costs, quantities, and forecasts in EcoSys; update ETC/EAC as required.
• Prepare and review Executive Cost Reports with PMs and Project Controls leadership.
• Submit monthly cost and billing forecasts on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, standards, and reporting deadlines.

About this Role

Location:Denver, CO (QISG Office – 1050 17th St, Denver, CO 80265)We’re looking for a motivated Junior Cost Specialist to assist with project financials across multiple EPC projects.This is an entry level role, and we’ll provide full training for the right person eager to build a career in project controls.

Candidates must currently reside in the Denver metro area.

What You'll Do

• Enter and reconcile material receipts in JDE, uploading BOLs and supporting documents.

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $28.84/Hr. - USD $37.59/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
