Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Spring, TX is seeking a motivated Junior Cost Specialist to support project financials across multiple EPC projects. This entry-level role includes full training to build a career in project controls.

You will learn to enter material receipts, reconcile costs, and prepare cost reports while collaborating with Project Teams. We offer competitive pay, generous PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial analysis.
• Experience with JDE, EcoSys, or Procore is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile material receipts in JDE, uploading BOLs and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Expediting and Project Teams to ensure accurate receiving documentation.
• File receipts in Procore and match POs or budget codes to AP invoices.
• Verify billings, retention, taxes, and lien waivers for AP accuracy and compliance.
• Post costs, quantities, and forecasts in EcoSys; update ETC/EAC as required.
• Prepare and review Executive Cost Reports with PMs and Project Controls leadership.
• Submit monthly cost and billing forecasts on schedule.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, standards, and reporting deadlines.
