Job summary

MKDA is seeking a talented Interior Designer to handle various design assignments from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Interior Design and be proficient in tools such as Revit and AutoCAD. Responsibilities include space planning, managing client expectations, and creating presentations.

The position requires an understanding of interior finishes and the ability to work with clients and vendors. Candidates must reside in the NY Tri-State Area or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Experience with creating and understanding project documentation, including Design Development.
• Good understanding of interior finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and budgets.
• Proficiency in millwork detailing and reviewing shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Space planning.
• Attending meetings and managing client expectations.
• Coordinating with outside consultants and vendors.
• Participating in programming, visioning, and site assessment tasks.
• Creating renderings, selecting finish schemes, and putting together client presentations.
