Digital, Marketing & Creative Recruiter (freelance & direct hire)

Our client has a need for a Jr. Copywriter to be responsible for the intersection of the conceptual and the strategic, creating compelling content that effectively communicates the brand message and engages customers.

This is a 30 hour a week, freelance opportunity that will be for 4 and a half months of parental leave coverage. This role is fully remote and you must be available from 9a-4p Eastern. Client will provide equipment.

What You Will Do

• Build content for various marketing materials, including advertising, web, social, email, direct mail, video scripts, and blog articles
• Collaborate with designers, developers, content creators, and stakeholders
• Capable to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task and focus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Deliver creative content that is on brief, on time and aligns with the overall marketing strategy
• Partner with stakeholders to understand how content contributes to KPIs, ensuring consistent targeting of appropriate content to specific audiences
• Stay current on the latest content, best practices, emerging trends, target audience preferences, and new technologies
  
  

Required

• Bachelors degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising or related fields
• 1+ years of Retail or Marketing experience
• Portfolio of work samples
• Proven experience in creating compelling copy for various marketing channels and formats
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, ability to be adaptable, dependable and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Significant research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from diverse sources
• Highly detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills
• Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and sense of humor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax
