We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact in a growing organization. The Junior Controller will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the senior controller. This position is permanent and full-time, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

The Junior Controller will have a wide range of responsibilities including but not limited to

• Assisting in the preparation and management of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring they comply with standard accounting procedures and company policies.
• Overseeing the cash flow management, including monitoring and projecting incoming and outgoing cash.
• Utilizing the Ramp system to manage and control financial operations effectively.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial procedures.
• Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to the management team and stakeholders.
• Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
• Advising management on actions regarding the tracking and control of company assets to prevent misuse or misappropriation.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Junior Controller position should have the following qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience with Ramp, monthly reporting, financials, and cash flow.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
• High proficiency in MS Office and financial software applications.
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
