Job summary

CTA Construction Managers seeks an Assistant Project Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale vertical building projects in Burlington, MA. This role offers a direct pathway toward becoming a Lead Project Superintendent with hands-on co-management of complex jobsites and safety‑driven leadership.

You will work with an ENR Top 100 Green Contractor, coordinating multiple trades, enforcing quality, and driving schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License.
• Minimum of 3 years of field operations experience within commercial or public construction.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise trade subcontractors and execute daily site logistics.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to jobsite locations outside a 30-mile radius.
• Must be able to pass background check (CORI).
• Certifications or familiarity with OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations to ensure vertical construction progress aligns with specs and milestone schedules.
• Direct and coordinate field activities for multiple trade subcontractors and site labor personnel.
• Enforce project safety, quality control, and site logistics plans to maintain jobsite productivity.
• Lead weekly foreman and safety coordination meetings to align site teams and enforce protocols.
• Assist in updating and maintaining the master project schedule to mitigate operational bottlenecks.
• Prepare accurate daily field logs tracking site progress, manpower, weather, and key activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in field operations on large-scale vertical projects.
• Professional safety and site equipment certifications including OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lifts.
• Familiarity with industry software tools such as Procore and Microsoft Office.
