Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects, primarily within the data center market. The role involves assisting in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, are capable of independent work, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This is a 100% onsite role at client projects with per diem provided.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of direct experience in project management or construction coordination.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Experience with change requests, scheduling, and cost tracking.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating project scope and costs.
• Manage project expectations and execution of subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
• Track project expenses and budget.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Attend meetings with owner/contractor/architect/engineer as needed.
• Research and draft change requests to resolve design issues.
• Propose solutions to conflicts and errors in design documents.
• Monitor field work to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Support submittal and RFI processes.
• Assist in early billing tracking.
