Soltek Pacific Construction Company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Construction Estimator to join our Preconstruction team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills in estimating for commercial construction and public works projects, working with experienced estimators and project teams to build accurate bids.

The role involves quantity takeoffs, document reviews, subcontractor bid solicitation, and bid preparation support.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, CE, or Architecture or related field is preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in estimating, project engineering, or related field.
• Experience reading construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office; familiarity with estimating tools.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction and public works projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
• Review project plans, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Assist with developing material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Support the preparation of conceptual estimates, preliminary budgets, and competitive bids.
• Assist senior estimators with bid-day activities and final bid submissions.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, bid documentation, and project files.
