Responsibilities

• Process intake of prospective new clients and matters for firm attorneys.
• Perform conflicts checks and review conflict reports; identify potential conflicts.
• Communicate with affected attorneys to resolve conflicts.
• Obtain due diligence for new clients and matters when required.
• Draft waiver letters to clear conflicts of interest as needed.
• Answer questions on conflicts, business intake, and firm policies.
• Erect and maintain ethical walls and other screens as required.
• Monitor ethics rules, opinions, and case law on conflicts of interest.
• Monitor client mergers and acquisitions to identify conflicts.
• Keep shared documents current and accurate.
