AgileEngine is seeking a Junior/Middle Computer Vision Engineer in Miami, Florida to support data preparation, model training, and evaluation for an AI team handling large-scale image and video datasets. Qualifications

• Authorization to work for any employer in the US (no sponsorship)
• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, data science, ML, or related field
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• US-based candidates located in Dallas, TX, open to onsite work
• Foundational Python coding skills
• Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows
• Basic knowledge of computer vision principles (image processing, object detection basics)
• Familiarity with cloud environments and compute resources
• Willingness to learn in a mentorship-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail in data quality and documentation

Responsibilities

• Curate large-scale image and video datasets and manage labeling workflows
• Run model training and evaluation jobs and ensure experiments run smoothly
• Document training results and track model benchmarks over time
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze failure cases and identify improvement areas
• Take ownership of foundational tasks supporting the AI/ML lifecycle and production deployments
