Job summary

Southside Bank in Austin, TX is seeking a Full Time Professional to support commercial lending activities, assist in generating new commercial customer relationships, and help maintain the commercial customer base through credit analysis and portfolio management.

The role involves participation in credit structuring, attending loan committee meetings when requested, and representing the Bank at networking events, with standard Bank hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or 1–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial lending activities and assist in generating new commercial customer relationships.
• Perform credit analysis and assist in portfolio management.
• Attend weekly Director’s Loan Committee meetings when requested.
• Develop centers-of-influence to drive opportunities to the Bank.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive Bank information and comply with regulations.
