Job summary

BUCHALTER LLP in Los Angeles is seeking a junior associate to join our Commercial Finance Group. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience, preferably with a finance practice at a large firm. The role focuses on secured lending transactions and diverse debt financing structures.

The associate will draft and review financing documents, perform due diligence, coordinate closings, and support supervising attorneys. California licensure is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in commercial finance or related practice.
• Experience with secured lending transactions and middle market financing preferred.
• Familiarity with UCC Article 9.
• Strong drafting, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist drafting and reviewing financing documents.
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate transaction closings.
• Support attorneys throughout all stages of financing transactions.
