Job summary

Cadmus, a federal-focused technology services firm, is seeking a full-stack developer to support an enterprise portal team. The role involves building scalable cloud-based applications, collaborating with DevOps, and delivering responsive UI with Angular/React and robust backend with Python/JavaScript.

You’ll contribute to RESTful API design, AWS deployments, Linux automation, and rigorous testing within an Agile/Scrum environment, leveraging modern DevOps practices to ensure high availability

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining web applications with frontend and backend technologies.
• 1-2 years of experience in full stack web development.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.
• Comfortable evaluating and adopting new technologies and frameworks.
• Ability to research and advocate for continuous improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications on cloud infrastructure.
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular and React.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and JavaScript.
• Design, implement, and integrate REST APIs with frontend applications and third-party services.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on AWS cloud services.
• Work in Linux environments for deployment, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following standards.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain application availability.
