Job summary
Mead & Hunt, a recognized consulting firm, is seeking an entry-level engineer in Orlando, FL, to support impactful infrastructure projects. The role includes preparing engineering documents for municipal water and wastewater projects and assisting with design and analysis across the project lifecycle.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and ideally have some internship experience. The company offers a generous benefits package, including health insurance, 401K, and paid leave.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Previous relevant internship experience in engineering projects is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil/environmental engineering design documents for municipal projects.
- Assist with reports, specifications, plans, and designs for full project lifecycle.
- Prepare design computations and construction documents accurately.
- Visit project sites for data collection and verification.
- Serve as onsite project representative as needed.
- Attend client meetings and collaborate with engineers.
- Some travel will be required.
