Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an entry level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join the Industrial Commercial Energy Team in Flint. Bachelor's in civil/environmental engineering required; 0–3 years' experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, or Revit is desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
0 to 3 years of related experience.
Experience with AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and Revit preferred.
Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support on water utility projects.
Prepare engineering calculations and supporting analysis of alternatives.
Prepare design reports using local and state standards.
Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and Revit.
Review plans and specifications.
Prepare/assist with permit submittals.
Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities.
Monitor task budget and progress.
Maintain safe working environment.
