Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to support licensed engineers and learn our practices, with emphasis on AutoCAD Civil3D and local codes. You will work on design development, documentation, and coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires an engineering degree (or near completion) and an EIT-eligible path, with strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment in Fort Worth, TX.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
Engineer-in-Training certificate, or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D.
Coordinate with agency staff and internal teams on designs and issues.
Prepare entitlement documents to support maps and zone changes.
Calculate quantities using Excel and draft letters in Word.
Assist with construction drawings including grading plans and stormwater details.
