Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Columbus, OH seeks an Entry‑Level Civil Engineer to join a collaborative team. You will assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects, gaining experience across mixed‑use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education and federal projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D plus MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0–2 years of work experience; EIT/FE preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Prior internship or professional site/civil design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules and cost estimates.
• Use maps, drawings and plans to assess soil, terrain and hydrological data for design.
• Suggest new approaches to improve efficiency and services.
• Apply engineering knowledge and mathematics to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and perform other duties as requested.
