Job summary

Knight Piésold in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to assist senior engineers with earthwork design across mining, water resources, renewable energy, and hydropower projects. You will contribute to Civil 3D drafting, analyses, and reports, and participate in field assignments within the US and abroad.

Ideal candidate has a BS in civil engineering, 0-4 years of experience, and knowledge of drafting and civil design practices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineer with design work for civil earthwork projects including mining, water resources, and hydropower.
• Produce civil/geotechnical/hydraulic analyses and design reports.
• Prepare proposals, bid documents, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Participate in field assignments in the US and abroad; assist with permitting, reclamation, and closure activities.
