Job summary

Quiddity seeks an entry-level civil engineer-in-training to assist with design and management of civil projects in Texas. You will work under experienced engineers, perform defined tasks, review data, and support permitting and documentation.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and progress toward the FE/EIT within 12 months, plus a valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record. This is a full-time on-site role in Katy, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• FE required to advance Engineer‑In‑Training designation – must be completed within 12 months of hire date.
• Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined design assignments using standard techniques for civil engineering projects.
• Review work for discrepancies and follow through to completion under supervision of a licensed engineer.
• Support mid and senior engineers in planning, preliminary design, and modeling tasks.
• Research permitting requirements and apply codes to engineering tasks.
• Assist with documentation including plans, drawings, reports and permit applications.
