The position focuses on learning civil design, project coordination, and client interaction.

You will develop civil drawings, perform hydraulic calculations, and prepare permitting documents while gaining business and client-side experience for future project management roles.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; client interaction is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey data, maps, and drawings to plan projects.
• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems using design software.
• Develop designs for stormwater, sewer, and utilities with appropriate calculations.
• Prepare site grading and utility plans; assist in permitting documents.
• Compute loads, water flow, and material stress for design specs.
• Communicate project status to Project Manager and clients; prepare reports.
