ARA is seeking entry-level civil engineers to join the Transportation Division, Aviation Directorate, with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence at least 3 days per week in Egg Harbor Township, NJ or Madison, WI. The role involves developing expertise in airfield pavement design, evaluation, and management, and requires travel to project sites.

The position emphasizes collaboration with engineers and project managers, strong communication, and a background in civil engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) with GPA ≥3.0.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop pavement design, evaluation, and management expertise.
• Support senior engineers with design, testing, and analysis.
• Participate in field testing, data collection, and evaluation.
• Travel for field assignments 10–20% annually.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and develop recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, figures, tables, and presentations.
• Perform field work with accuracy, documentation, and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
