Description

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for field equipment deployment, setup, sample collection, initial processing, and packaging for lab testing across various sites in the United States. All candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.

The role involves working in a small, rapid response team, assisting with heavy equipment lifting, and traveling both locally and out of state. Flexibility for schedule changes and travel requests is essential.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Obtaining, testing, and transporting sensor equipment to installation sites.
  2. Managing logistical duties related to travel and shipping.
  3. Collecting environmental media and preparing samples for lab testing.
  4. Following detailed instructions for collection and testing procedures.
  5. Preparing reports and documentation, including after-action reports.
  6. Performing preventive maintenance and securing equipment post-task.
Basic Qualifications
  • Punctuality, reliability, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team.
  • Flexibility for hours/shifts and short-notice travel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel long distances.
  • Ability to access mechanical spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, kneel, and work in various environments.
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of sample collection systems, field testing, HVAC systems, and CBRN detection.
  • Experience with environmental monitoring, HAZWOPER certification, and relevant scientific degrees.
