ONE SOURCE is seeking a Junior Carpenter to support field operations on commercial construction projects in New England. You will work alongside experienced carpenters on office buildings, healthcare facilities, retail locations, schools, and industrial properties.

This full-time role emphasizes learning the trade, performing framing, drywall, millwork, and finish carpentry, while adhering to safety procedures and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of carpentry or construction experience preferred.
• Trade school or vocational education is a plus.
• Basic understanding of carpentry methods and construction practices.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to company office or job sites.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required).

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial carpentry projects from start to finish.
• Install wood and metal framing.
• Hang and finish drywall.
• Install doors, frames, and hardware.
• Install baseboard, trim, molding, and finish carpentry.
• Install cabinets, shelving, countertops, and millwork.
• Repair walls, ceilings, flooring, and other building components.
• Read tape measures and perform basic material layouts.
• Safely operate power tools and hand tools.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures.
• Complete work orders accurately and communicate project status with supervisors.
• Perform other facility maintenance duties as assigned.
