Merritt Precision, LLC, a maker of large-format composite plugs, molds and tooling, seeks an entry-level CAD Technician I to support the Manufacturing Engineering team in Sweetwater, TN. You will create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation to improve processes and ensure accurate records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in CAD/Engineering Technology or related field.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and CAD standards.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Rhino, NX or similar software.
• Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software.
• Maintain CAD files, revisions, and engineering documentation.
• Design production-ready models and blueprints for fiberglass mold framing and lamination kits.
• Assist with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering changes.
• Support manufacturing layouts, fixtures, and tooling designs.
