Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD 2D/3D Operator to develop detailed design models and drawings for piping and vessels, and to convert field ISO sketches into AutoCAD with high technical quality.

You will enter technical data into the mechanical integrity data management system, review specifications, perform P&ID/PFD validation from 3D laser data, and collaborate with client representatives to ensure accuracy and coordination on drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year associate degree in Mechanical Drafting or CAD.
• Experience with industrial drafting and CAD operations for piping and pressure vessels.
• Familiarity with API codes and NDT principles.
• Proficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and drawings to ensure correct piping/vessel structures.
• Create 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings from sketches and notes.
• Validate P&ID and PFD using 3D laser scan data.
• Coordinate with clients and internal team for drawings accuracy.
