Creation Technologies is seeking a Buyer 1 in Rochester, MN to perform purchasing activities supporting production and operations. You will collaborate with BU Planning Team to ensure material continuity, quality, and delivery while monitoring costs and inventory levels.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. You will manage ERP purchases, supplier relations, and MRB/ECO/NCR items, while driving cost reductions and inventory improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, inventory or purchasing management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of supply chain experience.
• Proficient English business communications, written and verbal.
• Proficient computer skills on Windows and related software.
• Experience with MS Office and Excel features.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Able to work under pressure as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with regional/site teams to align on material needs.
• Send POA reports to suppliers and manage PO Actions weekly.
• Generate ERP purchase orders for production and new product launches.
• Monitor PO status and communicate with the Customer Focus Team.
• Maintain parts in ERP with supplier, MPN, MOQ/MPQ, lead time.
• Coordinate with Materials Planner on pricing and NCNR.
• Source shortages to minimize delays and excess inventory.
• Manage MRB issues, ECOs, NCRs including supplier returns.
• Execute contract and PFEP/VMI changes as directed.
• Ensure supplier approvals and maintain performance.
• Drive cost reductions through negotiations.
• Collaborate on inventory reduction plans with Materials Planner.
• Resolve invoice issues with Finance/Supplier/Commodity Manager.
• Escalate to Finance on credit holds and terms.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
