Job summary

H MART is seeking an experienced procurement specialist for its CA warehouse in Whittier. The role entails executing buying tasks, managing supplier relationships, and processing purchase orders to support operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 2+ years in food/wholesale procurement, with ERP proficiency and strong analytical skills. English, Chinese, or Korean language skills are a plus. This on-site position offers full-time hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in food/wholesale procurement preferred.
• Supply chain management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with PO processing, contracts, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• English, Chinese, or Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute buying and procurement tasks with limited supervision.
• Conduct routine sourcing activities and manage supplier relationships.
• Process transactions in procurement/ERP systems and maintain PO data.
• Identify process issues and support continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports and analyses to support procurement activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
• Document procedures and suggest workflow improvements.
