Responsibilities include converting requisitions to purchase orders, tracking deliveries, obtaining supplier quotations, and maintaining ERP data. The role offers exposure to suppliers, pricing negotiations, and inventory planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of purchasing/procurement experience.
• ERP/MRP experience (SAP or Plex) is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and deliveries.
• Follow up on past-due orders, obtain supplier quotations, and assist with price comparisons and negotiations.
• Maintain supplier, material, and purchasing information within the ERP system and assist with new supplier setup.
• Support purchasing metrics, resolve supply issues, and complete additional purchasing or administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities of the Junior Buyer

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and identify purchasing discrepancies in a manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials, supply chain, or related experience is a plus
• ERP or MRP experience, including SAP or Plex, is a plus
