Job summary

CFS in Columbus is seeking a Junior Buyer to support purchasing activity, supplier communication, and ERP data management. You will convert requisitions into orders and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time production.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in purchasing or related fields; ERP/MRP experience (SAP or Plex) is a plus. This role offers hands-on exposure to quoting, inventory planning, and supplier negotiations in a collaborative manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials, supply chain, or related experience.
• ERP/MRP experience, including SAP or Plex.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and deliveries.
• Follow up on past-due orders, obtain supplier quotations, and assist with price comparisons and negotiations.
• Maintain supplier, material, and purchasing information within the ERP system and assist with new supplier setup.
• Support purchasing metrics, resolve supply issues, and complete additional purchasing or administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities Of The Junior Buyer

• The Junior Buyer will convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and deliveries
