Description

Essential Functions:

  1. Monitor and report on monthly progress towards revenue and case goals, keeping sales management apprised of any issues.
  2. Prepare and deliver daily sales reports to management.
  3. Monitor monthly sales expenses, including T&E, samples, and incentives, for variance to budget.
  4. Track sales initiatives and programs daily and monthly.
  5. Report on other KPIs for sales management monthly.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with the Regional GM to discuss business trends and opportunities.
  7. Analyze top brand performance, identify trends, and recommend actions.
  8. Contribute to setting monthly case and dollar goals for sales reps and managers, maintaining adjustments throughout the fiscal year.
  9. Coordinate with database and software developers to create goal tracking reports.
  10. Audit goal tracking reports and data models for accuracy.
  11. Reconcile monthly goals for sales reps and managers.
  12. Create custom reports for management as needed.
  13. Review regional sales processes to identify improvement opportunities and develop consistency across regions.

Other Functions

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures; report hazards and suggest improvements.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment; occasional travel, some overnight.

Equipment/Machinery Used

Telephone, fax, copier, computer, calculator, scanner.

Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 20 lbs., bending, sitting, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial or sales analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with limited guidance.
  • Ability to interact across all organizational levels.

Computer Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Database experience preferred.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools preferred.
