Job summary

You will support design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint sites across JWICS, SIPRNET, NIPRNET and Extranet, ensuring information is current and easy to use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update SharePoint sites across networks (JWICS, SIPRNET, NIPRNET, Extranet).
• Consolidate SharePoint sites and assist content owners.
• Update the Analysis Home Page on unclassified and classified networks.
• Support workforce messaging with the Communications Team.
• Develop, refine, and enhance tools for the Analysis Directorate (awards, reporting, tracking).
• Provide training and consultation to content managers.
• Represent the directorate for UI development and coordinate with IT.
• Provide expert Tableau support for business functions.
• Document intake requirements and track metrics.
• Communicate updates on SharePoint content changes.
• Troubleshoot cross-browser UI issues.

Job description

The Business Analysis – Junior, is primarily focused on the technical and content management aspects of the organization’s web presence and internal tools. This role supports the design, development, and maintenance of SharePoint sites across multiple networks to ensure information is current, accessible, and easy to use. The analyst also plays a key role in supporting the workforce by updating home pages, refining internal tools, and providing training and consultation to content managers.

Duties May Include:

SharePoint Management:Maintain and update the content of the Analysis SharePoint websites on multiple networks (JWICS, SIPRNET, NIPRNET, Extranet), including supporting design and development to improve utility and ease of use.

Site Consolidation and Support:Consolidate SharePoint sites where possible and support content owners who may require assistance and training.

Content Updates:Support the timely updating of the Analysis Home Page on both unclassified and classified networks.

Communications Support:Assist the Communications Team in executing workforce messaging.

Tool Development:Support the development, refinement, and functionality of tools created for the Analysis Directorate, such as tools for awards, reporting, and tracking.

Training and Consultation:Provide training and consultation to other Analysis SharePoint content managers.

UI/UX Representation:Represent the Analysis directorate for User Interface (UI) development efforts and coordinate with IT on new corporate updates.

Tableau Support:Provide expert Tableau support for business functions and Front Office requirements.

Requirements Tracking:Document and track all intake requirements through approved mechanisms to provide up-to-date metrics.

Change Communication:Communicate updates, changes, and new information to SharePoint content managers.

Technical Troubleshooting:Proactively identify and address cross-browser functionality problems in all delivered User Interfaces.

Required Skills:

Education:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a business, management, or a related technical field.

Experience:1+ years of experience business, management, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 3+ years of experience.

Core Skills: critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Advanced Skills:Proficiency in specialized tools such as MS Visio, MS Project, JIRA, Tableau, or SharePoint is required.

Certifications:maybe desired based on position.
