Job summary

Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) invites recent graduates to join our Building Technology division in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC. You will work under licensed engineers on exterior envelope projects, contributing to design, evaluation, and repairs for existing buildings.

Candidates should have a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering, 0–5 years of experience, and an interest in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in architectural/civil/structural engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience; EIT preferred.
• Interest in building construction and engineering problems.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, evaluation, investigation, and repairs of existing buildings.
• Travel to multiple job sites; climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Support licensed engineers under supervision.
