Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies is seeking an entry-level Automation Engineer with a technical degree to design and implement building automation and electrical control systems. You will interface with facility equipment and sensors, architect custom solutions, and deliver real-time data and actionable insights to clients.

You will collaborate with engineers and designers, develop control sequences, and grow toward leading a team, supported by ongoing training and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field related to engineering or systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task across concurrent projects.
• Relevant co-op experience.
• Manufacturing or building/facility management knowledge.
• PLC, DCS, and/or DDC experience.
• Familiarity with web development technologies.
• Experience with Relational/Document databases and historians (SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, OSIsoft).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop building automation systems.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with facility equipment and sensors.
• Architect custom solutions using control databases, AI, and UI tools.
• Provide clients with real-time data and actionable information.
• Develop quality control system sequences and programs.
