Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers at events to generate interest and leads.
- Educate attendees about our products and services in a professional and approachable manner.
- Represent Renewal By Andersen with enthusiasm, maintaining a positive brand image.
- Travel to designated event locations.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on event requirements and company needs. A detailed review of role expectations will be provided upon hire.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be available for variable part-time shifts (4–6 hours), including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, based on event scheduling needs.
- Successful candidates are highly communicative, personable, and comfortable engaging with prospective customers in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report check.
- Previous sales experience is a plus!
- Basic computer skills.
- Employment offer contingent on a clean, basic background check.
Compensation
- Base pay starts at $16 per hour with paid training.
- Earn between $18-$25 per hour with generous commission incentives—your success is rewarded!
- Pay is subject to fluctuation based on seasonal demands and performance.
Working & Physical Conditions
- Standing and moving for extended periods (up to 6+ hours) in fast-paced event settings, engaging with a high volume of attendees. Comfortable initiating conversations in crowded, dynamic environments.
- Event setup duties include lifting and assembling canopies, tents, tables, and marketing materials (50+ lbs).
- Physical stamina required for setup, breakdown, and ongoing adjustments throughout the day.
- Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions like heat, cold, and wind.
- Event locations include festivals, trade shows, retail spaces, and large public venues.
- Mobility required to navigate event sites efficiently.
