Job summary

HKS, Inc. in Atlanta seeks an entry-level Architectural Designer to support project teams with standard architectural tasks and digital workflows. You will help maintain project models, organize files, and ensure consistency with HKS digital practice standards.

You will contribute to BIM coordination, documentation setup, and coordination with consultants, while developing fluency in design and visualization tools under supervision.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field required.
• Typically 0-3 years of experience.
• On the path to Architectural Registration; Sustainable design accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine architectural assignments and technical tasks under direction, applying standard techniques and collaborating with team members.
• Supports digital workflow tasks including model organization, file management, view/sheet control, and documentation setup.
• Maintains model health and project data integrity, including large project modeling, CAD cleanup, and work-set management.
• Assist in developing and modifying project-specific digital content such as views, sheets, schedules (e.g., floor plans), details, and components.
• Participates in digital coordination with other disciplines, BIM coordination with consultants, and Revit-to-Rhino workflows.
