Job summary

FIDx, a fast-growing fintech, is seeking a Junior Automation Developer to build and maintain automated test coverage for our platform from our Berwyn, PA office.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver reliable, scalable tests using Playwright and JavaScript, while leveraging AI tools to improve coverage and efficiency. This is ideal for early-career professionals eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software development or test automation experience.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Playwright.
• Experience with automation tools and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test development and coverage.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and QA to define test strategies.
• Execute, monitor, and report on automated test results.
• Contribute to evolving automation framework and tooling.
• Document test cases, results, and automation processes.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD efforts through test automation.
