Job summary

Magis Capital Partners LLC, provider of management services for FIDx, is seeking a Junior Automation Developer to build and maintain automated test coverage for our fintech platform. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to deliver reliable software and a seamless user experience.

This role suits someone early in their career who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will work with modern automation tools, including AI-powered assistants to write smarter

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software development or test automation
• Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools
• Comfort using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) to support development and problem-solving
• Understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Experience with .Net

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test development, improve coverage, and streamline day-to-day automation tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report issues
• Contribute to the evolution of our automation framework and tooling

About the Role

As a Junior Automation Developer, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining automated test coverage for our platform. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure our applications are reliable and deliver a seamless experience to our users. Key Responsibilities

• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test development, improve coverage, and streamline day-to-day automation tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Execute and monitor automated test suites, analyze results, and report issues
• Contribute to the evolution of our automation framework and tooling

Expected Hours of Work

The work schedule for this position will be primarily Monday - Friday at our Berwyn, PA office, during typical business hours; however, based on the operational needs of this rapidly growing company, some work outside of typical business hours may be required.
