Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an entry-level Auto Technician to perform light maintenance and basic repairs at a Cox location in the United States. You’ll gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices while performing oil changes, inspections, battery work, and simple repairs.

You’ll work with approved vendors for parts, adhere to safety and environmental regulations, and have opportunities for ASE training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Must be able to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (no OPT/CPT/visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Perform light-duty maintenance and basic repairs.
• Carry out oil and filter changes and routine vehicle inspections.
• Test and replace batteries as needed and ensure safe operation.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks and adhere to safety regulations.
