Your mission

This role is:FULL TIME

HELLO! continues to grow and is looking for a data-driven, highly organised Junior Audience Editor to help HELLO! to maintain its impressive organic growth.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Junior Audience Editor to support our editorial team by helping shape and grow our reach across entertainment and lifestyle content.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who’s worked in digital publishing, especially as a writer with SEO know-how, and is ready to take a step into a more strategic audience role. You'll work closely with our UK and US teams to spot trends, pitch smart content ideas, and help optimize stories for search and discoverability.



Key Responsibilities
  • Spot trending topics in the US (and globally) that align with our brand, and flag them to the editorial team in real time

  • Use keyword and trend tools to suggest article ideas and support writers with SEO-optimized headlines, metadata, and internal links

  • Assist with optimizing and updating existing articles to improve rankings and visibility

  • Track competitors and flag when they’re ranking well or covering topics we’re missing

  • Help plan and support coverage of major entertainment events (e.g., award shows, reality finales) from a performance perspective

  • Monitor article performance using tools like Google Search Console and Google Analytics, and share insights and quick wins with the team

  • Learn and grow into a more strategic audience development role with training and support


Your profile

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who’s worked in digital publishing, especially as a writer with SEO know-how, and is ready to take a step into a more strategic audience role. Experience
  • Experience writing or editing content with SEO in mind, ideally for an entertainment, lifestyle, or celebrity-focused site

  • A good grasp of SEO basics (search intent, keyword research, optimizing headlines, metadata, etc.)

  • A genuine interest in digital trends, pop culture, and how people find and engage with content online

  • Comfortable using tools like Google Trends, Search Console, or similar

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, you’ll be working closely with writers and editors

  • Based in the United States, ideally with awareness of US cultural moments and TV/celebrity events
