Job summary

Collier Legal Search is partnering with a Houston-based Personal Injury firm to recruit a junior attorney for their litigation team. The role handles 1-8 years of PI experience, with potential move from pre-litigation to active litigation/trial work, primarily on MVA cases.

You must be able to work independently and collaboratively, with an eagerness to go to trial. The office is central and offers a weekly half-day work-from-home arrangement.

• 1-8 years of experience handling personal injury cases.
• Must be able to work independently as well as work collaboratively.
• May start in pre-litigation (with support of a cases manager) but will be moved quickly to litigation/trial role.
• Docket is mostly MVA cases.
• Must have eagerness to go to trial.
• In office with a weekly half day to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Handle personal injury cases through litigation and trial.
• Collaborate with team to move cases to trial and manage case progression.
• Work with a cases manager during the pre-litigation phase.
