Zinpro, a global leader in animal nutrition, is seeking an Associate Accountant in Eden Prairie, MN. The role focuses on timely and accurate financial data preparation within a collaborative finance team.

Candidates should bring a growth mindset and strong work ethic to support a broad set of accounting functions. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, cash application, budgeting, and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 0–1 year of accounting experience or internship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post journal entries to general ledger with supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Perform cash application, collections, and dispute resolution.
• Complete monthly forecasting/budget process for assigned scope.
• Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
• Handle ad hoc duties and projects as required.
