Job summary

Zinpro Corporation in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Associate Accountant to join the finance team. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support monthly forecasting, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, on-site three days a week (Tue–Thu), and a comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer-paid healthcare. A CPA path is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 0-1 year of accounting experience or internship.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven organizational, prioritization, and time management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to general ledger with supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Perform cash application, collections, and dispute resolution.
• Complete monthly forecasting/budget process for assigned scope.
• Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify and suggest improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
• Handle ad hoc duties and projects as required.
