Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Software Engineer I to contribute across the data work stream from design through deployment, building solid ASP.NET web solutions.

Responsibilities include enhancing existing sites, addressing tickets, writing SQL queries, using jQuery on the front end, and managing code with Git branches while staying current with industry trends and the AmTrust tech stack.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of object oriented development concepts.
• Exposure to C# and .NET Framework.
• College Degree Desired.
• Self-starter and motivated.
• Basic to intermediate SQL querying.
• NET experience (MVC especially) is a plus.
• NET WebAPI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and debug existing ASP.NET websites or contribute on smaller new projects.
• Document tickets and fixes.
• Write beginner to intermediate SQL queries.
• Use jQuery and client scripting to improve the front end.
• Manage code changes with Git branches.
• Keep current with market trends and demands.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
