Job summary

FamilyFirst Qatar is seeking a Junior Architectural Technologist in Akron to support the design and construction process by producing detailed drawings and technical specifications. You will assist with drawings, models, and specifications using AutoCAD and related software, and you may conduct site visits to gather measurements for projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team.
English, Malayalee, or Egyptian language proficiency preferred.
Fresh graduates welcome; no prior experience required.
Willing to relocate to Akron; accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of drawings, models and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software.
Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure designs are accurate and feasible.
Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with local laws.
Attend project meetings to provide technical support and communicate project progress.
Contribute ideas and suggestions for design improvements.
