Job summary

SmartAgro in Akron, OH is seeking an Architectural Designer to assist senior architects with designs, drawings, and CAD models, applying building codes and standards.

You will participate in site surveys, client meetings, and collaborate with engineers and contractors, with a part-time role that could grow to full-time, and accommodation provided for those who need it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Research building codes, regulations and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to superiors
• Participate in client meetings and present design proposals
• Continuously develop knowledge of new trends, techniques and materials in the field of architecture
