You will contribute to technical drawings, learn BIM workflows, and develop drafting precision while supporting project documentation and design development in Welkom.

Qualifications

• Relevant National Diploma in Architectural Technology, Draughting, or related field.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit or BIM software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawing conventions and principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Ability to interpret sketches and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, details using CAD tools.
• Assist in developing construction documentation packages with senior staff.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure compliance with drawing standards.
• Attend site visits to gather information and take measurements.
• Incorporate revisions as directed by the design team.
• Organize and manage drawing files and project documentation.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic architectural studio based in Welkom, Free State, is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Architectural Draughtsperson to join their growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an aspiring architect or draughtsperson to gain hands‑on experience in a professional setting. You will work closely with senior architects and designers, assisting in the production of technical drawings and documentation for various projects. Key Responsibilities
