Job summary

Ghafari Associates is seeking an Architect to assist in executing office and project-related design and technical tasks of simple complexity. You will work under supervision to read construction documents, produce as-built drawings, and support the creation of construction documents under the lead architect.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in architecture or architectural engineering, up to 3 years of experience, and are beginning the NCARB AXP process.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years related architecture experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Begin NCARB AXP process.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand construction documents and assist in field checks.
• Assist production of existing building as-built drawings and background.
• Set up project files per client or office standards.
• Assist in production of construction documents from the lead Project Architect.
• Assist with design tasks and technical documentation under direction.
• Develop Revit models and family content as requested to edit per standards.
• Collaborate with project team members across disciplines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering

0-3 years related architecture experience

Begin NCARB AXP process
