Job summary

HOK, a leading architecture and design firm, seeks a junior architectural professional to support project teams under close supervision. You will prepare BIM-based drawings, assist with 2D/3D presentations, and contribute to sustainable design efforts while learning from senior designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture required.
• 0 to 3 years' experience; or equivalent in appropriate education and experience required.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).
• Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
• Incoporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
• Develops, modifies, and reviews drawings ensuring the design intent is met.
• Works with design team to complete projects on aggressive schedules.
• Translates planning concepts for clients and project teams.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Builds models for client/project team review.
• Assists with materials selection and system research.
• Maintains HOK document standards and archives documents appropriately.
