Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Associate in Architectural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 1-5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in industrial, commercial or municipal projects preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Revit and Adobe Design Suite is a plus.
• Working towards licensure in the State of Michigan is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Project Manager in charge of the assigned project.
• Work in support of architectural design and development of projects (CAD, code research and application, product research and application, cost estimating and application of other programs & technology).
• Client interaction for review of design and planning concepts.
• Prepare design development and construction documents, including details and specifications.
• Construction administration, including shop drawing review, RFIs and job site observation.
• Provide external communications via telephone calls and/or email, and prepare correspondence as required by various projects.
• Communicate with consultants and manufacturers.
• Prepare 2-D and 3-D color renderings of design concepts.
